Green and Red Harvest

I think this is the first time I have grown broccoli in my garden. It turned out beautiful. I picked all the flowers today from 6 plants. They only weighed 2 pounds. I hope the plants grown new flowers.

The other harvesting I did was cherries. There are still more to be picked. Like I predicted, it was a good cherry year.

We never have grown broccoli, you're right. But that is quite an impressive showing for your talents as a broccoli farmer =)

Sounds like you have the farmer gene, also. I hope someday you get the chance to grow a garden in good soil. In the meantime, if you plan on staying there awhile, try getting a load of decomposed horse manure from a local rancher to build up the soil.
